Dear Mr. Thompson,
I am writing to let you know that I found a small mistake in your book “The Wonders of Ancient Civilizations.” I read it recently and really enjoyed it, but I noticed one piece of information that was not correct.
In Chapter 4, it says that the Great Pyramid of Giza was made during the rule of King Tutankhamun. I checked this fact later in my history textbook and on the internet, and I learned that it was actually built in the time of King Khufu.
I think this correction is important because many people read your book to learn about history. If the information is wrong, it can cause confusion for students and readers.
I hope you will update this detail in the next version of your book. Thank you for your great work and for writing such an interesting book.
Yours sincerely,

In many parts of the world, the proportion of older people is increasing. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages for society?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Sample Answer
In many parts of the world, the number of old people is increasing. Some people think this is good, but others believe it causes problems. I think it has both good and bad sides, but the disadvantages are more serious.
One good thing is that old people have a lot of experience. They can share their ideas and teach young people many useful things. For example, grandparents tell stories and give advice that help the family. Older people also help take care of children when parents are busy.
However, there are also some problems. When there are more old people, the government has to spend more money on hospitals, medicine, and pensions. This can be a big problem for the country. Also, if many people are old and retired, there are fewer young people to work, and this can slow down the country’s progress.
In conclusion, even though old people are wise and helpful, having too many of them can create problems for the economy and work system. So, I think the disadvantages are stronger than the advantages.
